Ali born in 1994, is a filmmaker based in Istanbul.
He made his first short film Synesthesia before the college in 2011.
He directed a short documentary as a part of the Shades of Karaköy project supported by the EU Creative Europe Program, in 2018. He graduated from Bahcesehir University, BA in Photography and Video with great honor mention and many of his photography works have been exhibited in Berlin and Istanbul.
He was selected for IDFAcademy program in 33rd edition of the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam.
He was part of a group of 60 filmmakers and producers.
He is currently working on his first feature, doc film, One of Those Creatures which was awarded at Istanbul Film Festival Meeting on the Bridge in 2020 and received The Whickers Bursary at Close Up in 2023.
Ali works as a freelancer director, editor and video/photographer in fashion and online commercial campaigns, offering over ten years of experience in artistic creations in business of film making.
